To be eligible for Adlerbert scholarships, you should:
Adlerbert scholarships at the University of Gothenburg awards scholarships with priority for travel abroad within the studies. If there is money left to distribute, travel within Sweden is prioritized, followed by Housing Scholarship and then Study Scholarship.
You can apply for a Study scholarship, travel scholarship and housing scholarship in the same application. You can only receive one scholarship per application round
Travel scholarship - must contain information about the destination, time and purpose of the trip, as well as a cost specification. Travel to Gothenburg and travel that is less than 50 km from Gothenburg is not included.
Applying for a scholarship for travel can include a maximum of two different trips. The travel may not begin before the 1 of January the same year you apply and must be completed no later than 30 of June one year afer the scholarship year (Scholarship year 1 July - 30 June)..
Housing scholarship - is done by filling in Rental cost per month. The scholarship is a contribution to your rental costs during your studies at the University of Gothenburg during the scholarship year.
Study scholarship - All applications are counted as an application for a study scholarship. A study scholarship is for expenses around your studies at the University of Gothenburg during the scholarship year.

Instructions for the application
The scholarship funds are divided in proportion for each faculty. The pot is then divided between the basic level and the advanced level. Applications for travel abroad are prioritized and ranked according to the maximum number achieved credits at the University of Gothenburg. Next priority is travel within Sweden and finally Housing Scholarship and Study Scholarship.
Applicants who have received a travel scholarship must report the costs covered by the scholarship in the application system (exceptionally on a paper form which is signed and sent by post). The report shall be made latest one month after the travel or after the payment of the Scholarship is made.
In the event that a travel scholarship granted cannot be used for the applied travel, it is possible to apply for reallocation for another travel relevant to the studies. A scholarship can only be reallocated once. Reallocation is done when reporting the travel, marking that the travel has changed since the application date.
If you have remaining funds from the scholarship after the travel(s) has been made, you can use it for living and study expenses, or for another trip relevant for your studies.

As a guest student at the University of Gothenburg you have the opportunity to receive a scholarship from the Adlerbertska Hospitality Foundation. The amount of the scholarship varies, in recent years the amount has been SEK 4000-5000 per scholarship.

The Evensonska foundation awards scholarships to students studying at the University of Gothenburg with a connection to the province of Värmland.
Requirements
To be eligible to apply you must be a student at the University of Gothenburg and have a connection to the province of Värmland (for example a place of birth, residence, place of education) and be under 30 years of age. Students from Glava parish have priority.
To be approved for a scholarship you must have at least one year of study in the subject you are applying for. Also, you need to belong to any of these four categories:
A) Student who intends to serve within the Church of Sweden as a priest, deacon or church musician.
B) Student intending to become a secondary or primary school teacher of European modern languages, with the exception of English, and with preference for the German language.
C) Doctoral students in gastroenterology, with preference for studies on Crohn´s disease or
D) Doctoral students in medical kidney diseases
You can apply and be granted a scholarship three times.

Applicants must prove a connection to Värmland by presenting, for example, a birth certificate or a graduation certificate. Students from Glava must attach documents proving provenance in order to gain preference. Anyone who has received an admission letter from the Church of Sweden should attach it.

The University of Gothenburg has its roots in the Gothenburg University College, which consisted of the philosophical faculties. The foundations still today give scholarships and grants to students, research students, professors and lecturers active in the "Faculty of Philosophy" at the University of Gothenburg.
The "Faculty of Philosophy" includes a department which, before July 1, 1977, was part of one of the then philosophical faculties.
Responsible for the distribution of scholarships and grants from the philosophical faculties is the Grants Committee of the Philosophical Faculties.
If you are a student at a department that belongs to "Faculty of Philosophy" at the University of Gothenburg, you can apply for a scholarship from the Donation Board. The scholarship amount is SEK 10,000 or according to special regulations.

The Donation Board's scholarships are awarded from several foundations. Special regulations apply to some of the foundations. Applicants who meet the criteria can be given priority for dividends from the foundation, which means a higher scholarship amount.
The application is made in the university's application system. If your application applies to a specific foundation, it must be stated in the precedence tab. In order for your application to be complete, it should be confirmed with BankID.
Decisions are made by the Grants Committee of the Philosophical Faculties in the middle of April and will be communicated to all applicants after that.
Students at the undergraduate and graduate level should not report costs.
If changes occur during the scholarship year that may affect the right to the scholarship, you should notify The Grants Committee of the Philosophical Faculties. If the board finds that you are no longer entitled to the scholarship, it should be refunded.

The scholarship can be used for material costs or travel and subsistence within the studies. The amount per scholarship is a maximum of SEK 10,000. The trip paid for by the scholarship must be completed within one year of the decision.
The trip must not coincide with examinations or teacher-led lessons and the scholarship holder must be a registered program student when the trip is completed. The scholarship can be used for exchange studies within programs.
To be eligible for she scholarship you must be a student registered in bachelor's or master's programs in Fine arts at the University of Gothenburg and hold a Swedish citizenship.
