School of Global Studies

At the School of Global Studies, you can study several different subjects that have the global perspective in common. You learn to analyze global social phenomena and gain in-depth knowledge of resource distribution, social structures, power and sustainable development.

Annedalsseminariet

Our premises

Lectures and seminars take place mainly at Annedalsseminariet on Seminariegatan 1A or in nearby premises.

Student counsellors, education administration and teachers' offices are located in the red brick buildings next to Annedalsseminiaret, on Konstepideminsväg 2B. This building is often referred to as KK2.

Locked entrance doors to KK2

As of November 15, 2023, the entrance doors to KK2 will be locked during office hours. From 08.00-16.00 on weekdays, you can use your GU card and four-digit PIN code to enter the building. At other times you will be let in by the person with whom you have an appointment.

Assembly point (in case of evacuation) for both students and staff is in Seminarieparken outside Annedalsseminariet.

Fire safety information

If the fire alarm goes off - start evacuating immediately.

The address of Annedalsseminariet is Seminariegatan 1A.

Evacuation plans are available in several locations of Annedalsseminariet. These include information on evacuation routes, fire hydrants, fire alarms and assembly points.

In Annedalsseminariet, the two stairwells function as safe fire cells. The elevator in Annedalsseminariet must not be used in case of fire.

The assembly point for both students and staff is in Seminarieparken outside Annedalsseminariet.
