The Artistic Faculty
The University of Gothenburg is one of the country's largest universities within the arts. At the Artistic Faculty, we have an internationally, unique breadth of artistic subjects at the undergraduate and advanced level, as well as on doctoral level.
The need for critical perspectives and new visions for a more sustainable society is as great as the need for answers and solutions. Our students are involved in creating ideas about, and conditions for the future. We are convinced that art and culture play a role in meeting the challenges and in changing society.

Our facilities
Today, the Artistic Faculty is spread out over several different addresses in central Gothenburg, as well as in Dals Långed.
Konstnärliga
Between 2025 and 2027, the Artistic Faculty and its departments, HDK-Valand and the Academy of Music and Drama, will relocate to new building, Konstnärliga (except for our operations in Dals Långed). Konstnärliga is located on Götaplatsen, right between the Gothenburg Concert Hall and the Gothenburg Museum of Art.
