News: Sep 12, 2018
University of Gothenburg has compensated for air travel in service since 1/7 2011. On 30/5 2016, the Vice-Chancellor made a new decision that funds from the climate compensation should go to the university's internal fund for emission reduction measures called the "GU Internal Climate Fund".
Now, employees and students at the University of Gothenburg can apply for funds from the GU's internal climate fund for projects that help reduce the university's climate impact. The purpose of the climate fund is to enable researchers, teachers, students and other employees to actively participate in our common climate efforts.
