A workshop to gear you up for your time abroad!

Will you be travelling to a country significantly different from what you are used to? Be prepared by participating in a workshop where you will discuss what it's like to live in a country with different norms and values, especially in relation to issues such as gender equality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and religion.

The Global Horizons workshop is designed for those who for example are going to study, do an internship, or conduct research abroad during Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. To equip yourself for various situations that may arise, it's crucial to raise awareness about the country you'll be traveling to, especially regarding potential political, economic, and cultural differences.

You don't have to travel far to experience differences, so even if you're heading to a European country, you can benefit greatly from participating.
