At Campus Näckrosen, new premises are being built for the Artistic Faculty, bringing all of the Faculty’s subject areas together under one roof. The move-in is planned to take place between 2028 and 2029.

Premises during construction
While construction is underway, the faculty's two departments are located in different places:
The Academy of Music and Drama is based at Eklandagatan 86 at Campus Johanneberg. Teaching also takes place at Åvägen 24, Vasagatan 50 and Triörgatan 1.
HDK-Valand – Academy of Art and Design is located in the Vasagatan 50 and Kristinelundsgatan study area.
2027
In summer 2027, parts of the Artistic Faculty's activities will move into the faculty’s new shared building, Konstnärliga. Construction of the two new building sections will continue until 2029, but the renovated parts of the building will be brought into use as early as 2027. The first phase of the relocation primarily affects students at the Academy of Music and Drama.
What does this mean for you as a student?

- Activities consolidated across fewer locations
Which addresses are affected?
Eklandagatan 86
The offices on Level 2 and the teaching facilities on Level 3 will be vacated in June 2027. The Student Union’s current spaces will be replaced by new premises in Konstnärliga. Ahead of the autumn semester 2027, certain functions will also be relocated within Eklandagatan 86.
Triörgatan 1
The entire site will be vacated as part of the move to Konstnärliga in 2027.
Vasagatan 50
The facilities currently used by the Academy of Music and Drama will be vacated, including:
- Black box theatres
- The Auditorium
- Offices on Storgatan
- Storage facilities
- Dressing rooms
The relocation may affect operations during spring 2027
Some fixed installations may be moved already during the spring semester of 2027 in order to be fully operational by the start of the autumn semester.
