About Mobility-Online
Mobility-Online is the system you use to search for, manage, and follow up on international opportunities — such as exchange studies and work placements abroad. The system is used by hundreds of universities worldwide to manage international exchanges.
Get started
- Browse current exchange agreements using the Exchange possibilities search
- You can apply for exchange studies during certain periods of the year. Your department or faculty will inform you when applications are open for the various exchange opportunities. Read more on the page Application for exchange studies
- If you have already submitted an application in Mobility-Online, you can log in to Mobility-Online
Application for exchange studies
The first step in your application for exchange studies is to secure a nomination to one of the universities you are interested in. A nomination means that the University of Gothenburg suggests you as an exchange student to a partner university. You apply for a nomination through Mobility-Online. You can only submit an application when the application period is open.
A confirmation email will be sent when your application is complete. Your application is considered complete once you have:
- Completed the Application Form ”Outgoing Exchange
- Logged in to Mobility Online, and filled in your address details and possibly bank information.
- Uploaded mandatory documents (if required by your faculty/institution).
- Submitted the application by checking the box "Submit application", then "Forward to update", and finally checking the box for "Completion of documents".
Support and help with the application is provided by coordinators at your department/faculty.
Learning Agreement
If you have been accepted onto an exchange or study partnership programme within Erasmus Studies, you must create a Learning Agreement before the exchange begins. Once you have entered your bank details (Bank data completed), the steps will become available under the Learning Agreement section.
If you are on an Erasmus ICM exchange, you must upload a PDF in the ‘Study plan’ step.
