You can easily get here by boat from Stenpiren, located between Järntorget and Lilla Bommen. Buses from the city centre will also take you across, right up to the campus area.

Access

Some premises, such as computer rooms and student areas for the various departments, are only accessible if you are studying at that department.

To gain access to the premises and areas that are relevant to you and to access computers on campus, you need to do the following:

You can activate your CID no earlier than one week before your course begins. Before that, you need to have activated your student account and registered for your courses. You can activate your CID before ordering your GU card. Once your CID is activated, you will usually have access to the premises within one to two hours, but at the start of the semester it may take until the following day before you can enter.

If you have followed all the steps above but still cannot enter the premises, visit the Chalmers Service Centre at Campus Johanneberg for assistance. Chalmers Service Centre opening hours and address
