Laws and regulations
There's several laws, regulations and policies that determine what rights and responsibilities you have at the University of Gothenburg.
Laws and local governance documents
Higher education in Sweden is regulated by different types of laws. However, the universities and university colleges can regulate a lot on their own. At the University of Gothenburg, there are local governance documents pertaining to first-, second-, and third-cycle programmes. These are decisions made by the University Board, Vice-Chancellor or some other decision-making body. They are intended to govern the University's activities in a common and normative way.
