Exchange studies in Europe
The University of Gothenburg has exchange agreements with higher education institutions in over thirty countries in Europe. On this page, we have listed the countries where we have most exchange places. But do not forget to look under "Other European countries", there are many exciting opportunities!
Erasmus scholarship
If you want to do an exchange period at a university in Europe, there are good chances of receiving an Erasmus+ grant to help with the increased cost of living while you are abroad. If you want to travel to the UK or Switzerland, you cannot receive an Erasmus scholarship, but you do not have to pay tuition fees at the host university.
Most agreements with European universities take place within the Erasmus+ programme, and are handled by your faculty or department.
