Subjects/Courses
Students from all academic backgrounds are welcome to apply for an exchange at Ca' Foscari, but make sure to carefully check the course offer in English and the ability to transfer the credits before you apply.
Exchange students can choose freely from the courses offered in English. It is worth noting that courses are taught at different campuses across the island, which means that it is possible that you may have to travel a short distance by foot/water taxi between them. Be mindful of potential timetable clashes.
You can find their course search here.
For a wider and more accurate search, try to only indicate 2023/24 and tick the box for "English taught courses". Course codes containing a "T" stands for "Triennale" (bachelor level) and an "M" stands for "Magistrale" (master level). There are more courses offered at master level than bachelor level.
Please note that courses are NOT taught in the following disciplines:
- Art
- Design
- Law
- Music
- Nutrition
- Sports
- Teacher training (though they offer didactics and specialist subjects such as English and chemistry)
- Theatre
- Medicine and health studies
