Monterrey
Monterrey is a city in northeastern Mexico, located in a modern industrial and business hub only 230 km from the U.S. border. The city, also known as “La Ciudad de las Montañas” (The City of the Mountains), is home to several transnational conglomerates, with 10 of Mexico’s 20 largest companies based there. The campus area has been designed to create the ideal environment that encourages intensive academic activity, combining both research and recreation. This allows students and faculty to fully develop their innovative potential.
Tecnológico de Monterrey
TEC de Monterrey is a large private university founded in 1943 with approximately 90,000 students. It is the highest-ranked private university in Mexico, offering a wide range of courses across many fields of study, most of which are open to exchange students. TEC de Monterrey has five campuses, with the main and largest one located in Monterrey.

Full-Time Studies
Bachelor’s level: 18 credits per semester correspond to 30 ECTS.
Master’s level: 18 credits per semester correspond to 30 ECTS.

Language Requirements
Good knowledge of English or Spanish if you choose courses in Spanish. No English test required.
Accommodation
As an exchange student, you can live either on or off campus, or with a host family. Note that on-campus housing is not available at Campus Santa Fe or Campus Mexico City.
