In connection with the fair, a breakfast lecture and a lunch lecture with companies will also be arranged. These are free of charge but require a separate ticket. Updated information is published primarily through the student association's channels, especially on Instagram, @gostastudentforening.
About GÖSTA
Since 1993, the student association GÖSTA has been working to connect IT students with employers in both the private and public sectors.
Through guest lectures and the annual career fair, many generations of students have found their way into working life. The IT industry has a great need for skills, and students are facing their future careers – GÖSTA offers a meeting place for both parties. During the fair day, students get a unique chance to network with companies and organizations in the industry, and the ambition is that the day should contain something for everyone.
The event takes place at Lindholmen and attracts over 800 students annually.
GÖSTA is a student association for IT students at the University of Gothenburg. In addition to the annual career fair, the association also organises guest lectures, case study evenings and other activities throughout the year, with the aim of creating opportunities for students to meet professionals and gain insight into different roles and career paths within IT.
