Requirements
International students at the University who do not intend to remain in Sweden after their studies, internship, or similar activities are welcome to apply. This includes free-movers, exchange students, guest researchers, etc., at all levels (undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral).
To be eligible for the Adlerbertska Hospititality Foundation:
- You should be a guest student at the University of Gothenburg and intend to return to your home country after your studies,
- You must be registered at the University of Gothenburg during the scholarship year (between 1 of July 2025 to 30 of June 2026).
- The study period should cover at least three months,
- You do not receive Swedish study support (CSN),
- You do not have a permanent residence permit (PUT) in Sweden,
- You have not received the scholarship before.
Application
Application period: 12 January 2026 - 12 February 2026. Late applications will not be considered.
How to apply: The application is made in the University's application system. Please use your email address that you use in the Student portal at the University of Gothenburg.

Announcement and payment
Decisions on results will be announced by e-mail in mid-April. Payments to Swedish bank accounts will be made in May, while payments to international bank accounts will be completed at the end of May.
