The University of Gothenburg is part of the MIRAI collaboration, which is now inviting master’s students and doctoral students to participate in the Global Solutions Olympiad.
You will form teams of up to four people from MIRAI member universities and work interdisciplinarily on one of the following challenge areas:
- Health and an ageing population (Goal 3)
- Climate adaptation, disaster and risk management (Goal 13)
- Sustainable cities and communities: governance and urban planning (Goal 11)
- Energy transition and energy storage materials for a sustainable future (Goal 7)
Each team will develop a solution presented either as a report or a short video. One team from each challenge area will then be selected to travel to Fukuoka, Japan, to present their work during the Research and Innovation Week, 8–11 December. Flights, accommodation and most meals are included.
