Every year, the Faculty of Social Sciences awards a prize to individuals who have ‘contributed to a particularly successful effort in the area of educational quality and/or pedagogical development.’ The prize money is 100,000 Swedish kronor and is awarded to the department or equivalent of the prize winner(s).
Employees, students and doctoral students can nominate individual teachers, teaching teams, courses or teacher-led projects. Candidates at undergraduate, advanced and postgraduate levels can be nominated. A recipient cannot normally receive the prize more than once. The nomination must state how the contribution has been successful.
The award is presented at the university's annual professorial installation.
