Opening Hours at Humanisten During Christmas and New Year
During the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays, the opening hours at Humanisten will be adjusted.
For students at the:
Faculty of Humanities
During the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays, the opening hours at Humanisten will be adjusted.
The café and restaurant will be closed from 19 December to 7 January.
On Sundays and public holidays, students do not have access to Humanisten.
Public Holidays During the Christmas and New Year Period 2025/2026
Apart from these dates, regular opening hours apply.
The main entrance to Humanisten, Renströmsgatan 6, is open:
The entrance at Lundgrensgatan 11 is open Monday–Friday 8:00–16:00.
The entrance at Lundgrensgatan 9 is locked.
Students have access to the faculty entrances and the computer lab with their GU card, Monday–Saturday 07:30–21:00. Requirement: registered as a student at the University of Gothenburg and enrolled in a course at the Faculty of Humanities.
Students do not have access to the premises on Sundays or public holidays.
