The award is given to a bachelor’s, master’s, or master’s thesis. The thesis must have received the highest grade at one of the following faculties at the University of Gothenburg: the Faculty of Science and Technology, the School of Business, Economics and Law, the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts, the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Education.
Advisors, examiners, and deans may nominate theses. Self-nominations are also accepted. The nomination must include the thesis and a brief letter of recommendation describing the thesis’s strengths. In the case of a self-nomination, the author must also attach their CV, and the letter of recommendation must then be written by the thesis advisor.
