Remember to close the windows

Published

Windows should be kept closed while teaching and practice sessions are in progress and always when you leave the room. It is fine to air the room briefly if needed, but never leave windows open unattended.

We have received feedback from neighbours who are sometimes disturbed by noise from our activities. When windows are left open, teaching and practice can easily be heard outside. Unattended open windows can also pose a safety risk, for example through break‑ins or damage if windows are blown open by the wind. In addition, leaving windows open negatively affects the ventilation system, as it is designed to operate with closed windows.

Please remember to double‑check that the windows are closed before you leave, and help remind one another.

Thank you for showing consideration.
