The move to Natrium, what students need to know

Published

The relocation of the Department of Applied IT from Lindholmen is about to begin and will become noticeable during spring 2026. From mid-May, all teaching staff, education support staff, and other employees will have their workplaces at Natrium on Medicinareberget, while all teaching will continue as usual at Lindholmen until the summer. From the autumn semester 2026 onwards, teaching will also take place at Medicinareberget.

As a result of the move, access to the department’s premises for individual or group study will be limited. Group rooms will no longer be available, and the opportunity to use teaching rooms when they are not scheduled will gradually decrease during the spring.

The student area on the fourth floor of the Patricia building will remain available during the spring semester. There you will find a kitchenette, microwave ovens, and a quiet room.

Regarding examinations at the end of the spring semester, further information will be provided by course coordinators and published in Canvas.
