Warm welcome to the Department of Social Work! We're delighted to have you as a student with us. We are part of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Gothenburg, offering studies in social work at the he bachelor's (first cycle), master's (second cycle), and doctoral (third cycle) levels.
Here, you can take courses and programs at the undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral levels. You have the opportunity to pursue your entire academic career and earn a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in social work.

Our facilities
You will find the Department at Sprängkullsgatan 23-25 in Haga, Gothenburg. The visiting address for the education administration and study guidance is on floor 3, Sprängkullsgatan 23.
Study facilities and group workspaces
Campus Haga is open between 06:00 and 23:00 every day. Entrances and corridors are usually open from 07:30-16:30 on weekdays, and closed on weekends. Use your GU card to enter.
As a student
