Ask the ergonomist
For students
Do you struggle with back pain after a day full of lectures? Or do you feel like your posture starts to resemble a shrimp after long study sessions? Do you want to know how to improve your posture?
Do you struggle with back pain after a day full of lectures? Or do you feel like your posture starts to resemble a shrimp after long study sessions? Do you want to know how to improve your posture?
Join Rikard, ergonomist and physiotherapist at Feelgood, for this session where we will discuss the importance of moving your body and changing positions while studying. We will explore the impact that long periods of sitting have on your body and how it can lead to muscle stiffness and pain. With tips and strategies, you will learn what 'good ergonomics' mean and how you can include it in your everyday life to create a healthy student life.
After the lecture, we will serve fika in the corridor outside the lecture hall and you will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow students and talk to Rikard.
Programme:
This lecture is part of a series of independent lectures on the topic of sustainable student life together with Feelgood, the student health care provider. Each lecture will focus on a different topic. They will consist of a presentation by an expert from Feelgood, followed by a Q&A and fika. During the fika, it will be possible to speak with the lecturer.
Although a series, the lectures are independent, meaning that you sign up for them individually and that it is up to you if you wish to attend one or more.
