Study abroad - Exchanges
As a student in the Global Health or Public Health programmes, you have the opportunity to study abroad, usually during semester 3. The University of Gothenburg offers exchange opportunities through:
- University-wide agreements (IC), available to students from all faculties.
- Faculty agreements (SA – Sahlgrenska Academy), specifically related to your field of study
Most exchanges are course-based, but some agreements may also include internship opportunities. This will be specified in the agreement information.
University-wide agreements (IC)
University-wide agreements are managed by the International Centre (IC) and are open to all University of Gothenburg students.
Advantages
- Large number of partner universities worldwide
- Wide range of subjects and study areas
- Flexible course selection (no internhips or data collection possibilities)
Please note that you are responsible for identifying courses that can fit within your study programme.
👉 Available destinations and application instructions are published on the Student Portal.
