Apply for Freestanding Courses

From 15 September to 15 October, you can apply for freestanding courses at the Academy of Music and Drama. Studies start in January 2027.

Would you like to build on your education, broaden your knowledge and skills, or learn something new simply for your own enjoyment? Freestanding courses usually cover a specific, defined subject area. They may be held in the evenings or during the day, and can be taken remotely or on-site in Gothenburg.

At the Academy of Music and Drama, freestanding courses are offered in music, performing arts and pedagogy.
