EUTOPIA is an alliance of ten European universities collaborating to develop education, research, and the role of universities in society. As a student, researcher, or staff member, you now have the opportunity to participate in a program aimed at improving communication, academic collaboration, or student engagement within the EUTOPIA universities. As a bonus, you'll receive an introductory training in innovation methods.
EUTOPIA Alliance, through Erasmus+ funding, is launching the EUTOPIA Design Intrapreneurship Program to support intrapreneurs in developing and testing new solutions to key challenges faced by member universities.
Aim of the call
The objective of the EUTOPIA Design initiative is to contribute to supporting academic staff, administrative and technical staff as well as students in becoming intrapreneurs*. We are looking for individuals or teams from EUTOPIA member universities interested in working on solutions tackling one of these three predefined challenges or proposing their own:
EUTOPIA Challenge 1: Overcoming barriers in joint education/research programs.
EUTOPIA Challenge 2: Transform EUTOPIA and its member universities into more student-centered organisations.
EUTOPIA Challenge 3: Foster greater collaboration and impact by increasing connectivity and improving communication.
Open Challenge: Propose a relevant challenge for EUTOPIA universities and a potential idea to solve it.
Who can apply
Academic, administrative, and technical staff, as well as students from EUTOPIA member universities.
Individuals can apply for EUTOPIA challenges 1-3.
Teams (2-4 people) are required for the Open Challenge.
Program Phases
The present call is part of Phase 1 of the program.
Phase 1: Challenge Express interest in tackling one of the challenges listed above or propose your own one and submit an idea through the present call. First selection: Individuals and teams will be selected to at intra-university level to go to next phase.
Phase 2: Idea development Receive trainings on innovation methodologies to generate, tailor and refine ideas to the challenges. Please note that individual applicants for Challenges 1-3 will be grouped by challenge and collaborate to develop ideas, which may be modified during the process. Second selection: Refined ideas will be assessed to go to next phase.
Phase 3: Receive hands-on in agile trainings methodologies as well as building and testing a proof of concept through continuous iterations to ensure it truly meets user needs.
