Two libraries become one when the Social Sciences Library relocate to Vasagatan this autumn

Published

On June 5, the Social Sciences Library on Föreningsgatan will close permanently. This means that after the summer, the library on Vasagatan will open at full capacity, where you, as a student, will be able to borrow, pick up, and return books.

Until now, there have been two Social Sciences Libraries—one on Vasagatan, which has offered study spaces, guidance, and support for digital collections and services, and one on Föreningsgatan, which has housed the social sciences book collections.

Föreningsgatan is now closing, which means that the Social Sciences Library will be consolidated at Vasagatan 2A. Starting this autumn, study spaces, group rooms, and book collections will all be located in the same building.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the University Library. The doors on Vasagatan will open on August 17. See you then!
