Apply for a field study scholarship for your thesis!

Published

Did you know that you can collect material for your thesis and degree project in countries such as Nepal, Botswana, or Costa Rica? The scholarship programme Minor Field Studies (MFS) gives you the opportunity to carry out a field study during six weeks in countries where Sweden is engaged in development work. Apply between 15 March and 15 April to conduct your fieldwork in the autumn.

Minor Field Studies is a scholarship programme that is financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). Through the programme, you can receive a travel grant of 25,000 SEK to carry out field studies in a low- or middle-income country in order to collect material for your thesis or degree project. The fieldwork must take place in one of Sida’s designated partner countries.
