The annual graduation ceremony for students at the Department of Computer and Engineering took place on June 11 in a crowded assembly hall. The ceremony in Vasaparken is for students who have attended any of the programs at the department given by the University of Gothenburg.
Niklas Broberg was this year's master of ceremonies. Everyone was dressed up, the students were cheering, parents were happy – taking millions of photos, great music, great speeches from the program managers and overall a very summery day in Gothenburg.

The ceremony started with speeches from Niklas Broberg, Assistant Head of Department for undergraduate education, and Petrus Hagby, chairman of the Student Unions at the University of Gothenburg. Two of the department's student ambassadors were also called on stage to get their diplomas for their work.
Then there were speeches by the program managers: Francisco Gomes, Birgit Grohe, Matti Karppa, Gregory Gay, Nils-Anders Danielsson, and the student counsellor, Hanna Kvist, who stepped in for program manager Michael Heron. Program by program, all the students were called up on stage for a goodbye and receive their folders and roses.
