Your future, your voice – join a European study on the impact of going abroad!

Published

Whether you’ve studied abroad, are planning an exchange, or have never participated in international mobility, you have the chance to contribute to an international research study.
The goal is to understand whether student exchanges influence important skills that are valued in the job market.

The study, Campus International 2025, also aims to explore why some students choose to go on exchange – and why others don’t.
Your participation is valuable and contributes to deeper knowledge about students’ experiences.

How it works

You’ll be asked to answer three short surveys about student exchange and personal skills.
Your answers are completely anonymous and cannot be traced back to you. The Campus International 2025 team complies with GDPR – more information is available in the data protection appendix on the first page of the survey.

  1. First survey:

You’ll provide some basic background information, such as what you study. It takes about 2 minutes.

Here is the link to the survey: https://survey.uzbonn.de/SPSSMR/Interviewing/surveys/t0_DAAD_2025?I.User1=SE

  2. Second survey

At the start of the autumn semester 2025, you’ll receive a survey via email. It includes questions about student exchange and personal traits. It takes about 5 minutes.

  3. Final survey:

At the end of the autumn semester 2025, you’ll receive a follow-up survey with the same questions as the second one. It also takes about 5 minutes.

About the study

Campus International is a non-profit research study conducted in 16 European countries.
It aims to compare how student exchanges impact students in different parts of Europe.

The study is coordinated by DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), and in Sweden by the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR).
