Department of Languages and Literatures
Welcome to the Department of Languages and Literatures. Here you can either deepen your language skills or learn a new language from scratch. We have courses in the following language subjects: African languages, Ancient Greek, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Latin, Russian, Slavic Medieval Studies, Somali and Spanish.
We also have two master's programmes:
- Language and Intercultural Communication
Second-cycle programme, 60-120 credits, that leads to a master's degree in the chosen language
- German Contemporary Literature and Culture: Reception, Transfer and Context
Second-cycle programme, 60-120 credits, that leads to a master's degree in German
