The University of Gothenburg has been a proud partner of West Pride for several years. The festival is currently seeking volunteers for the 2024 festival, for work in various areas. Register your interest by May 19.
Volunteering at West Pride can mean different things, depending on your interests and skills. It could involve being a photographer, answering questions in an information center, or helping other volunteers feel comfortable and ensuring they have the right equipment to carry out their volunteer tasks.
When you register your interest to be a volunteer, you'll specify the areas where you're interested to work with.
The Pride festival takes place June 10 to June 16. Some tasks may be performed earlier.
Depending on what area you will be designated, you will work in different locations. All locations are in central Gothenburg, such as the Gothenburg Public Library and Nordstan.
