- Department of Social Work at the Faculty of Social Science
- Department of Economics at the School of Business, Economics and Law
- Department of Literature, History of Ideas and Religion at the Faculty of Humanities

Study abroad - Exchanges
The University of Gothenburg has a number of agreements with universities around the world. These partnerships allow students to participate in exchange programs, providing the opportunity to study abroad as part of their Swedish education. It is possible to apply for exchange studies during the third semester in our international programs in public or global health.
There are two levels of agreements at the University of Gothenburg.
University-wide agreements: These are established at a higher, central level and include multiple subject areas and faculties. There is a wide range of agreements available at this level, and it is up to the student to ensure that the courses of interest are offered at the partner institution before applying.

Program-specific agreements: These are only open to students enrolled in specific programs. Currently, there are program-specific Erasmus+ ICM agreements with Angola and India. If you are offered a place at one of these universities, you will also receive a scholarship. The scholarship is divided into two parts: a travel grant of 820 Euros and a monthly stipend of 700 Euros. Through our Erasmus+ ICM agreements, you can either do a 10-week internship or collect data for your thesis. In addition to the Erasmus+ ICM collaborations, a 10-week internship is offered through a bilateral agreement with Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. There is no scholarship associated with the exchange in Thailand, but the tuition fee has been waived
