Take a break with the library and Student healthcare
Your brain needs breaks to absorb and process new knowledge. The University Library has break stations where you can crochet, do jigsaw puzzles and more. This page also contains tips for other activities suitable for a short break.
Studying without taking breaks will exhaust you and make you feel and perform worse. When you're studying, make a habit of setting a timer for 30 minutes, for example, and do something else for a while. This will restore your energy and help along your learning process.
Break stations at the University Library
The Humanities Library offers the following break stations: jigsaw puzzles, art walk, birdwatching and crochet relay.

- Listen: listen to a song, listen to the sounds around you
- Get something done: do the dishes, take out the recycling, water the plants
