Our speakers from Hyresgästföreningen will focus on:

  • Renting a sublet apartment: What qualifies as unauthorised subletting and what are your rights?
  • Rental agreements: How can you identify 'bad' terms and conditions?
  • Deposits: How can you make sure to get it back?
  • Home insurance: Why is it important to be insured, regardless of the type of room/apartment you are renting?
  • Defects and other issues: What qualifies as a deficiency in the apartment and what to do and what not to do?
  • Moving out: How can you prevent cleaning charges and other invoices from the landlord?

We will finish with a 30-minute Q&A with our presenters, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. You can also submit your questions in advance when you register for the lecture and our speakers will do their best to answer them during the lecture.
