Frank Larsson, an alumnus of the University of Gothenburg, has dedicated most of his career to working for the United Nations (UN) and participated in peace processes in countries like former Yugoslavia, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Lebanon, Georgia, Mali, Congo DRC, Afghanistan and Sudan. In this lecture, attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights into the structure and functions of the UN and its role in global governance, as well as Franks personal experience of the benefits and challenges of working for the UN.

Additionally, Frank will share his personal reflection upon the debates surrounding ongoing global conflicts and the UN’s role in addressing humanitarian crises and maintaining international peace and security.
