Interested in the UN? Join this inspirational lecture with a former UN employee!

On the United Nations Day, October 24, the Department of Political Science will receive university alumnus and former UN employee Frank Larsson. Frank will share his thoughts about working for the UN and reflect upon the role of the organisation in global conflicts.

This is an opportunity for anyone dreaming of working for the UN, or with an interest in global peacekeeping operations, to get a unique insight into the UN as an organisation. Frank Larsson is a previous UN employee and member of UNA Sweden that will explain the structure and function of the UN as well as share his personal views on the debates surrounding ongoing global conflicts and the UN’s role in addressing humanitarian crises and maintaining international peace and security. Furthermore, he will share his personal experience of the benefits and challenges of working for the UN.

The lecture will be given in English and is open for all students and alumni. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions during and after the lecture. Attendees are required to sign up through the link in the event at the Student Portal.
