Summer closure of the Student Affairs Office
From 21 June to 13 August, the Student Affairs Office is closed for the summer.
When not closed for summer, you can contact the Student Affairs Office via telephone 031-786 4020 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10.00-12.30. Or via e-mail: utbildningsexpedition@hsm.gu.se
Keys / lockers
Time to return keys and empty lockers!
- If you are finishing your studies this term, you must return your keys to the Campus Service office at Eklandagatan 86 by 10 June.
- If you are continuing your studies in the autumn term 2024, you need to renew your key requisition. If you do not have the opportunity to visit Campus Service at Eklandagatan 86, send a picture of your key together with your ID. Take a photo of the side of the key where the serial and running numbers are written. The picture, together with your GusID, is sent to service.lorensberg@gu.se.
- All lockers must be emptied and unlocked by 10 June.
- All locker keys must be returned to the Campus Service office at Eklandagatan 86. Leftover material will be defended at the Campus Service office until 14 June.
- The Campus Service office is open for key return on weekdays 13.00 – 15.00 during the last week of the semester, the week after, 27 May – 7 June, and Monday 10 June.
- For the swiftest and best service – please remember to return your keys as soon as possible during this period, do not wait until the last day.
Summer card
PLEASE NOTE! This only applies to students who continue their studies within the programme in autumn 2024.
During the summer break 17 June – 11 August, you as a student at the Academy of Music and Drama can access rehearsal and practice rooms at Eklandagatan 86. The times for access during the summer are 08.00-21.00, every day.
Please note that the summer access only applies to the premises on Eklandagatan 86. From Monday 12 August, normal opening hours will apply again at all addresses.
During the summer, the building will be cleaned. Some rooms/corridors will be closed periodically. Information about which rooms/corridors, and when, will be posted in the entrance at Eklandagatan 86 by 17 June.

Drum rooms
All drum rooms must be emptied of private drum sets and other materials by 10 June. After that, leftover items will be stored in the Academy of Music and Drama until 17 June.
Cleaning will take place from 13 June. From Tuesday 18 June, those who are continuing students can move their things in temporarily for the summer break, provided that the application for summer access has been submitted via form. Placement in the drum rooms may be subject to change
