IT Faculty

The IT Faculty ceases to exist as a unit

The IT Faculty will no longer be a faculty of its own as of 1 January 2025. The two departments within IT—including all research and education—will move to the Faculty of Science, which will be renamed the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The University Board decided to change the Faculty structure at the University of Gothenburg on 11 September 2024.

We would like to thank everyone who has been working with the IT Faculty and the IT University for their good and fruitful collaboration over the years!
